With over 100km’s to explore it makes sense to be based in an area which affords you much opportunity and choice for exploring. Prevelly is most genuinely the favourite choice.. just a short drive to Caves Road itself and yet providing some glorious beaches and sunsets as your reward at the end of the day. Choose your Margaret River accommodation wisely so that no drive becomes too long or too late in the day. It’s only a short hop into town and you have the great choice of at least 20 top wineries virtually on your door step.
With the quality and growth of the winery trade in the South West, leave lots of time to explore. Many have fallen into the mistake of thinking that it can all be done in a day .. It’ll actually be worth the additional day or 2 to relish in such life long memories.
