Are you feeling claustrophobic in your everyday routine? Do you find yourself waking up each morning dreading the reality of another day like the one before? When this feeling sets in, we forget how to enjoy the little pleasures in life, such as serenity, excitement, and just having a good time. There is really no aspect of life that appears easy any more.

The economic slump has made it almost hopeless to even consider a vacation. Even a short jaunt can become a major expense. But if you can forgo some conveniences and comforts, it is still possible to take a trip that will provide you with lifelong memories while not exceeding your budget. You can get away and enjoy new experiences without spending a lot of money.

Or you can keep working ceaselessly, never getting away, never experiencing anything exciting or adventurous in your life. Because things always get more expensive and there are always unexpected expenses, you never get as much saved as you would like to have.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I feel like people no longer just enjoy being with each other anymore. We don’t take the time to experience all the wonders of the world. We don’t take time to relax and think about our lives.

When you die, are you going to regret that you worked so much? You might!

Take some time to have fun. Consider it. What could you be doing right now? You could be doing so many different things. In fact, there are so many things that you can’t possibly think of them all. I do not want to think about if I don’t get to see the trees on the beach, don’t get to eat native foods, don’t get to take walks on the beach, don’t get to eat awesome food delivered to my room. There is so much to do in the the world, will you go out and do it? Are you going to find the time to explore these opportunities rather than work hard for the rest of your life.

There are ways to get out of the rut and do something new if you really want to. Those of us who have done so have learned much about people, life, and the world. So what will you do? There’s a whole world of wonders waiting for you out there - or will you just keep on working?
