The Flag of Cuba

Not too long ago I was roaming an airport in Europe and noticed an international flight to the city of Havana, the capital of the country / island of Cuba. I don’t know much about Cuba other than it has had a challenging relationship with the United States. I am aware of the Cuban flag, which has been adopted more than 100 years ago, in 1902. The National Honduran Flag

Like other counties in South America, Honduras achieved independence back in 1821 as part of the Central American federation along with other countries including: Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala. The present flag as displayed officially from Honduran flag poles, was officially adopted back in 1949. All of my life I have been a great soccer fan. Last year’s soccer world cup that was held in the Republic of South Africa pushed me close to making a decision of traveling down to this incredible land. Neat Flag Facts – The National Canadian Flag

This article presents flag facts on the national Canadian flag, which is hoisted on poles of all kinds throughout Canada. The world has a good number of flags, including North American flags, representing the different respective countries that the world counts today. The Russia Flag

I have researched and studied banners and historical flags of all kinds, including school banners. National flags fascinate me, especially those considered a little more controversial or those that have been displayed from residential flag poles and such for only a relatively short time. The Russian flag is a tricolor flag, meaning it displays three colors on three horizontal or vertical bands, also called stripes. Continue reading
